The SPC and the Nowcaster indicate that severe weather in or near our are could occur within the next 48-72 hours. Make preparations accordingly and monitor this email group and radio frequencies. CONDITION GREEN RADIO TEMPLATE At : the MOD, , has brought the MidWest Severe Storm Tracking Response Center Net into "STANDBY MODE" - Condition Green. The SPC and the Nowcaster indicate that severe weather in or near our are could occur within the next 24 hours. Make preparations accordingly and monitor the MidWest email group and radio frequencies. The repeater is open to normal radio traffic. But please pause between key ups in case Net Control needs to break in. CONDITION YELLOW RADIO TEMPLATE (every 15 to 20 minutes) At : the MOD, , has brought the MidWest Severe Storm Tracking Response Center Net into "READY MODE" - Condition Yellow. This means that conditions are such that activation may occur in the near future. Conditions or weather events in and around our area warrant this Condition Yellow status. Any members that have not posted their status via email should do so now. Any members that wish to ride along with someone or can have someone ride along should make arrangements now. Since this is not a full activation, deployment is on a voluntary bases but the base will take their reports and supply weather data. The repeater is open to normal radio traffic. Members with radios and are able to go storm tracking should contact the base now. Since this is a full activation, deployment in needed from any and all available members. Traffic on the radio frequency is now restricted to MidWest net traffic only until further notice. A directed net is now in progress. Any and all communictions on this repeater must be cleared first with the net control operator.
